District Elder Clayton C. Carothers, III & First Lady Antoinette Carothers
In 1990, Clayton C. Carothers III became a dean’s list graduate from Eastern Bible Institute in New Brunswick, NJ. Upon graduating, he served under Bishop James Gandy Sr. of Jerusalem Pentecostal, Inc. in Pleasantville, New Jersey for a year becoming the first Sunday School Superintendent.
Elder Carothers was later under the trilogy of Bishop Jenkins of Iselin Community Church of Christ (1991 - 2003), where became involved in teaching Adult Sunday School, singing in the Men’s Choir, and overseeing brotherhood gatherings in addition to being an active member in cabinet meetings.
In 2003, Elder Carothers became the pastor of Community Church of Christ, Inc. in Cliffwood, NJ. Since this time, the church has had a new birth and is doing great things in the Lord.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
